What types of batteries can this EBL universal battery charger charge?
This charger supports AA, AAA, C, and D Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, allowing you to charge 1–8 pieces of AA/AAA or 1–4 pieces of C/D batteries, even at the same time.
Why can’t I charge 8 batteries at once?
Make sure you are using a 5V/2A power adapter or above. If you use a 1A adapter, the charger will not deliver enough power to charge all 8 slots simultaneously.
What should I do if the LCD screen shows “Error” while charging?
This usually happens due to:
- Incorrect battery polarity or placement
- Non-rechargeable or incompatible battery
- Severely over-discharged battery
✅ Solution:
- Reinsert the battery in the correct direction
- Ensure you are using rechargeable Ni-MH batteries
- If needed, try activating the battery by reinserting it several times
Why does the charger show the battery is fully charged, but when I put it back, it shows not fully charged again?
This is normal. The charger performs a battery detection cycle when inserting batteries again. It usually takes 10–15 minutes to re-detect the battery state.
💡 Tip: The charger also has trickle charging. After full charge, you can leave the battery in the charger for another 30–60 minutes to ensure full top-off.
Why doesn’t the USB port work with my cable?
Try using a different high-quality USB-C or Micro USB cable, and avoid connecting two cables at the same time, which may cause charging errors.
Can I use any adapter with this charger?
No. For fast charging and optimal performance, use a 5V/2A (or higher) adapter. Lower current adapters may cause slow charging or failure to charge multiple batteries.
