FAQ
Why won't my EBL 906 charger charge my batteries?
Please confirm the battery model and type. Try using different rechargeable batteries. Also, check whether the batteries can be charged in another charger to rule out battery issues.
Why does the charger display an "error" during charging?
This could be due to:
- A faulty battery or damaged charger
- Improper battery installation
- The battery type is not compatible with the charger
Make sure the battery is placed correctly and that it’s a supported rechargeable model.
The display screen or battery slot is blank or white – what should I do?
Try unplugging the charger from power and plugging it back in. This may reset the display or reconnect the circuit.
Why is the screen not responding when I charge a 9V battery, and the indicator light stays on?
This is normal. The screen does not display charging status for 9V batteries — it only shows AA/AAA/C/D battery information.
For 9V batteries, the red light will remain on during charging and may not switch off even when the battery is fully charged. Charging typically takes 10+ hours, depending on the battery condition.
How can I charge a 0V battery with this charger?
The EBL 906 can charge 0V batteries, but they may require manual activation first. To do this:
Use a wire to briefly connect the positive terminal of a fully charged battery to the positive terminal of the 0V battery, and the negative to negative, to jump-start it.

How to change the mode of Charge & Discharge?
- “CHG” -- Charging;
- “DISCHG” -- Discharging;
- “ERROR” -- install the battery incorrectly or the battery is broken.
EBL 906 battery charger can both recharge and discharge the batteries by switching the blue button below the LCD screen.
Discharge and Charge: Press the blue button to discharge the battery. LCD displays "DISCHG". At the same time, 1-4pcs AA/AAA/C/D Ni-MH Ni-CD batteries automatically turn to discharging mode. The charger will resume charging mode after completion of discharge.
Note: 9V batteries cannot be discharged. LED will not turn off when fully charged for 9V battery, please remove the 9V battery timely when fully charged.
What should I pay attention to when using this charger?

- Please ensure the battery installed is correct: make the +/- pole of the battery is a match for the +/- pole of the charger.
- Never mix charge different types and different capacities of batteries under the same LED indicator.
- Using environment: 0℃ to 40℃, it is a normal phenomenon that the battery is warmer than room temperature when charging.
- Do not disassemble or reassemble the charger by yourself for safety reasons.
